Synopsis
A dreamlike love story set against the vast landscape of modern China, Zhou Yu’s Train features internationally acclaimed actress Gong Li as Zhou Yu, a young woman torn between her feelings for a shy poet and the persistent affections of a well-meaning young veterinarian. As she rides the train twice a week to cover the great distance between her two lives, we see Zhou Yu make the emotional journey between a fading passion that once inspired great beauty and a trusted friendship that seems destined to be her next great love.
