A Stone's Throw

"Beautiful cinematography and a fine ensemble cast"
- Jennie Punter, Globe & Mail
"Adroitly crafted and well observed, the film shows a nascent talent behind the lens... Visually Frieberg demonstrates a fluid, unfussy style. Heat emanates from the screen...and the quality of intimacy she develops among the cast allows the camera to get up close and personal without forcing the point."
- Len Klady, Screen International
"... profoundly significant and gripping film..."
- Thom Ernst, Festival Daily
"One of the 10 must-see films at the Atlantic Film Festival 2006."
- Tara Thorne, The Coast
